SAN PEDRO DE MACORIS.Brigadas de la Defensa Civil rescataron cerca del mediodía de este viernes el cadáver de un joven de 17 años, quien desapareciò en las aguas del Mar Caribe, cuando alegadamente trataba de salvar a un menor que se estaba ahogando, pròximo al rompeolas, en el malecòn.

Se trata de Josè Luis Feràndez Reyes, hijo de Jackeline Reyes, residente en el barrio Playa de Muertos.

La víctima era estudiante del programa Prepara que se lleva a cabo en la escuela Puerto Rico de aquì y con anterioridad habìa estudiado en el Colegio Bettel.

Tan pronto se supo del hecho decenas de personas acudieron al malecón colmando toda el área.

En el lugar estaban presentes las Brigadas de la Defensa Civil comandadas por su director regional, Pablo Polanco y Brigadas de la Policía Nacional, comandadas por el Mayor Angomás.
